The FinTech courses give you an overview of trends and future possibilities, as viewed from the perspective of the financial industry, regulators, startups, and academia, giving you the following skills:
1. You can participate in dialogues about FinTech in the industry, requiring you to understand and be able to explain: a) concepts, such as FinTech, blockchains, and cryptocurrencies b) how the technologies are applied in practice c) the evolution of financial technology over time, as well as the current state of financial technology
2. You can identify implications for the future of FinTech in terms of opportunities and risks for the industry, e.g., for entrepreneurs, banks, corporations, and financial regulators 3. You can articulate an informed opinion of recommendations and actions for the industry, e.g., for entrepreneurs, banks, corporations, and financial regulators Data-driven decision making can add significant value to all aspects of business operations.
The lectures are given both online and on campus. A (attendance on campus required) All lectures are given weekdays from 16:30 onwards and weekends on Saturdays (9:30 - 16). The assignments consist of both individual assignments and group assignments.
